Turin is a beautiful Italian city and is the capital of Piedmont, a remarkable Italian region that lies at the foot of the Alps. 1. The view from the Basilica of Superga
The view from the Basilica of Superga is a place that you should visit either when you arrive or when you leave (unless you arrived by train or plane). Indeed, this place is quite far from the center of Turin.
This place is accessible by car and by bus.
2. The view from the mole Antonelliana
To enjoy this view, you will have to go to the Mole Antonelliana in the city center. This large dome overlooking the city is in fact an architectural element of the Turin Cinema Museum. A museum that is also the largest museum of cinema in the world.
The lift to get to the top of the tower is just amazing and a bit scary.
3. The view from Capuchin Mountain (mont dei Cappucini)
The view from the Capuchin Mount is undoubtedly the most balanced and beautiful view of the city of Turin. From the terrace or the belvedere of the mount, you have a beautiful view of Turin. Not too far, not too close, not too low, not too high. And also not far from the center.
4. The view from the Victory lighthouse
Another point of view which allows benefiting from a very beautiful view of the city of Turin. To enjoy this view of Turin you have to go to Rimembraza Park. A public park is located about fifteen kilometers from the city center. At the top of the park on the Magdalene Pass was built a statue called the Lighthouse of Victory. This controversial monument was built in the 30s during the Mussolini era and is still in place.
